Our greatest need is connection, to be known, to be seen. But most of us are not brave enough. We have too much to hide. Too much shame. Too much fear. But we have a Father who does see us. He knows us completely. Even our shame. And he chose to love us. He is faithful to it. He wants you to know it's safe to love him back. He forgives you. He completes you. He fills you with joy and wonder. He has given you purpose. That purpose is love. Here are a few scraps of thought so you can "see" me.
I would do the same as the midwives if i was told to kill the male child except for the lying, and if pharaoh would have killed me then i would have died knowing that i died defending my rights......i dont want to be a murderer.
Best sound quality yet, I believe. :D What the midwives did was brave, saving the wee ones and all. "Just stay the course." Hhmm.... Easier said then done.
yes seems like God protects his people
ReplyDeleteIt is good to rest in the shadow of His mighty wings. Thank you.:-)

ReplyDeleteThe sound quality was a lot better. I think it was beyond cruel to ask the midwives, who help give life, to take life after a male child was born.
ReplyDeleteThe devotions were great this morning, i think that the midwives had to be very brave to have done what they did.
ReplyDeleteIts realy sad that you had to redo the devotion this morning.I liked the devotion.
