Faith Is An Amazing Thing

There are a couple of things you should know about Faith:

1. Faith is a thing of quantity. Jesus said it does not take much to get it going, just a tiny seed:

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20)

2. Faith is a thing of quality. It must be pure, without doubt, even if it is as small as a mustard seed:

I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21:21-22)

This is the life you have been called to live in faith. Is it any wonder Jesus reflected on this:

However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)

Too many Christians live their life according to the restrictions of their flesh. Too many refuse to allow the power of God to flow through them. Too many live according to the patterns of this world.

Where are you in your relationship with Jesus right now? Do you live by faith or by sight? Are you stuck in the confines of the physical world or do you trust God for the impossible? Do you trust? Do you obey? Do you live for Jesus?
