Our greatest need is connection, to be known, to be seen. But most of us are not brave enough. We have too much to hide. Too much shame. Too much fear. But we have a Father who does see us. He knows us completely. Even our shame. And he chose to love us. He is faithful to it. He wants you to know it's safe to love him back. He forgives you. He completes you. He fills you with joy and wonder. He has given you purpose. That purpose is love. Here are a few scraps of thought so you can "see" me.
I probably think that some things happen cause 0of something, but I do realize its God. I give glory to God when something happen like if I lost something VERY important, and I find it I give glory to him.
I think that it was bit unfair for Jacob to marry the wrong sister. The good thing was that God probably had a reason to let him go through what he went through.
I always found that story incredible though! He worked for SEVEN YEARS only to get cheated by Laban, and then work for another SEVEN YEARS.... dunno, but maybe he really loved the younger sister (I refuse to use her name, because I can already read the comments).... but then again, maybe he didn't, if he didn't even notice it was the wrong girl! Anyway, it's a bit off topic... maybe Jacob working this hard was to bring glory to God.... :) .... what young man, PP?
How can you get married to the wrong person? I think that's just weird. Anyways... it's very important to glory to God, because nothing would exist if it wasn't for God.
I'll be honest i don't give credit to God in all things but i do give credit to him in the major things, like passing a test and stuff like that, but i now realize that i must give credit for everything i do...you no that saying "give credit where credit is due" this applies for everything that we do, we must give credit to God
The study of different cultures is amazing - but I have to agree - how could anyone possibly not notice they had picked up the wrong wife...and where was Rachel when all of this was going on!

I know that It"s hard for Jacob to study and work hard because God made him like that. That's what I think.

ya God needs to have all the glory and we need to give it to him
I don't think that for me it is all that much a give God the glory problem as it is a trust issues problem.

I think it's weird how God used a flood to wipe out the earth when Noah was alive, when he could of just ended it like "that"
I think we should always give glory to God,because without Him we wouldn't even be here.
