You may want to check back on previous devotions for follow up comments. Don't let the discussion die just because you moved on to the next day.

Hmm... I bet you wish it could work with your kids. You tell them and they went. Seems so simple, but so many people have a hard time just doing something. We have to complain or stall, and hope whoever is telling us to do something (like God) will forget.

I wonder who else would do just as Abram did. Abram Was a pretty cool guy, never talked back to god.....(well if he did we would have been struck down right there)

It's amazing how Abraham trusted God and went when God told him to go.

I think that not everyone would have done as Abraham did when he had been offered this ...

Am I allowed to say something if I think someone left a silly comment? Like especially if it didn't make sense? How many times in the bible have you read, Kendall, of God just striking someone down because he talked back?

I think I would have difficulty leaving my family behind if God told me to go out of the country. But I am sure that if God wanted me to, I would (at least I better)go, of course with a zillion prayers and a whole lot of counseling first to be sure. :S
P.S. Abraham rocks! :D :P

theres lots of famous christian people in the bible, and today too, so it would be pretty weird if I got written about :P, i mean weren't they're just non-famous christian people back then too?

I remember when God did tell me to leave my family, my land and come to the land he was bringing me too. It WAS really scary - I am NOT the adventurous type, though the episodes of my life would fill a novel. I also felt really guilty, 'abandoning' my parents who did not want me to go. The only thing that would have been more scary and more difficult would have been to stay, when I knew God had siad to go, so I came.I would rather face the unknown with God than the familiar without Him.
