Btw its Matthew 18: 21-35 not 25. That would be a short reading...... I think "God made..." means that God nudged them, and they did the rest. Because didnt God give us free will? You always said that God cant make us do our work or something. He only nudges us, and we have do all the work. So I think he only nudged them to help the Isrealites.

We should always give God the glory for anything that we do, because without him we would not be able to succed in life.

The fact the he made the Egyptians favorably disposed is something that show how powerful God is. No one on earth could have made them favorably disposed except for maybe Pharaoh, but he wasn't about to let that happen now was he.

I sometimes(most of the time) have trouble thanking God for the things He's helped me do. It is easier for me to do it when I have consciously asked Him for help, but when I don't ask Him, it is harder to think of it. When you really analyze it, we should be thanking Him really all day long!

I think that it's cool that the Egyptians saw where the problem was, and that it wasn't with Moses! They saw that it was with Pharaoh. The Israelites finally got out of Egypt, after 430 years of living there.

Even if I knew how many blessings I missed, they probably would be to many to count. I need a thankfuler heart. :S
Knowing that my year is already messed up makes it hard to be joyful. I need help to see past the blinding failures and to see the blessings that God has provided me with. Life would be so much better, so much easier, so much more joyful if I can just trust God with my life and remember that he CAN use ANY thing for good.

I agree with Niki, that it really was very insightful of the Egyptians to realise who had the real problem. It can be diffuclt sometimes, to understand the work of the Lord in someone else's life -especially when they are culturally or socially in a very different place than us. It's just too bad that more of them did not move from sympathising with the Jews, to aligning themselves with those who were being aligned with God. There was provision at the passover to provide protection not only for those who were born Jews, but for those who choose to be grafted in. Too often, as Christians, we sit on the fence, approving the things that are of God, but not allowing them to change the deep things of our own lives - whether they be personal or cultural. Those who recognised the truth, but did not respond enough to it, shared in the chastisement of Pharoah. Sad.
